Choice the good season
I love the mountain landscape with flowers, so the mountains in this article may be my favorite. You will be fascinated by the flower garden if you choose the time when the flowers bloom properly. The mountains listed here are all popular, so be sure to make a reservation when staying in a mountain hut.
Mountains with flower gardens; HAKU-SAN
HAKU-SAN; fascination
From the highest peak, Gozengamine, you can enjoy a view of the major Japanese mountains. The flower garden of alpine plants that bloom all at once from July to August during the summer season is wonderful. A variety of environments can be created depending on the altitude, topography, and snow cover, and 250 types of alpine plants grow. There are about 20 types of plants in Hakusan, named after “Hakusan” and Gozengamine, which are named after the mountains in Japan. It’s easy to climb and I can enjoy the wonderful scenery easily, so I’ve been to it more than 20 times.
HAKU-SAN; information
The course is different if you stay in a tent and a hut. If you use the most major course, use the bus to the starting point. Ponds are scattered around the peak. Snow often remains until July.

Mountains with flower gardens; HAKUBA-DAKE
HAKUBA-DAKE; fascination
Immediately after climbing the snow surface called Daisetsukei where snow remains even in summer, a flower garden spreads out. There are many types of pretty flowers that bloom between the rugged rocks and snow. It is also attractive that there is a mountain hut with a hot spring in the middle of the climbing route. If it is fine, the view from the peak is superb.
HAKUBA-DAKE; information
You can see the remaining snow everywhere even in summer, and you can check the complicated terrain. This is also the reason why it is a treasure trove of alpine plants rich in special geology such as limestone and serpentine. Don’t forget the crampons and stocks as you have to climb the snowy valley. Please be careful about the information on the avalanche as it is a mountain where snow remains even in summer.
