It takes more than 2 hours on foot to reach the top of the mountain, and you can enjoy the flowers on the way. At the peak you can overlook the Central Alps.

There are several mountains named Komagatake in Japan, so they are sometimes called “Kiso Komagatake” or “Central Alps Komagatake” to distinguish them. It is easy to walk around the drop-off area of the ropeway without any difference in elevation, but if you leave the ropeway, it may be difficult to walk on mountain trails, so please wear shoes and clothes suitable for climbing.
