Mountains that Japanese mountaineers admire
Rich vegetation and beautiful mountain shape. That is mountain that climbers long for. Some of the overseas people and Japanese who have never climbed have longed for Mt. Fuji. However, there is a saying in Japan that “Mt. Fuji is an idiot who never climbs, and an idiot who climbs twice.” In other words, Mt. Fuji is not more attractive to climbers once they have climbed it. If anything, Mt. Fuji is said to be highly valuable as a mountain to look at. There are various opinions about the respected mountains, but I wrote an article summarizing the opinions of mountaineering enthusiasts around me.
